Maersk stressed that the move is to provide customers with a more reliable and stable solution, and the booking window will be from the date of receipt of the shipper's booking until the ship's estimated time of departure (ETD), which also means that bookings beyond the new booking window after July 15, 2024, will not be accepted.
It is worth noting that this adjustment is particularly targeted at a number of key routes from Asia, including but not limited to the West and East coasts of North America, the West and East coasts of South America, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, East and West Africa and South Africa routes, as well as a wide range of regions such as West Asia, Central Asia (including the Middle East and India), New Zealand and Australia. This comprehensive coverage strategy demonstrates Maersk's commitment to improving the efficiency and service of its global logistics network. The change applies only to Asian routes and will remain in effect until further notice.
