PIL launches new CCE Express line from China to Chittagong
Recently, PIL announced the launch of a new "China Chittagong Express Line" to connect major ports in China and Bangladesh.
The weekly direct route will make its maiden voyage from Ningbo, China, on August 31, 2024, and will be served by container vessels jointly deployed by PIL and its partners.
Surendran Mathilagath, General Manager, Asia Services, PIL, said: "We are delighted to extend our direct Express service from China to Chittagong, Bangladesh. The launch of CCE routes will make trade transportation between the two countries more efficient and reliable. At the same time, the route also provides customers with more options on the basis of the BD1 and BD2 routes connecting to Chittagong via Singapore. PIL will always adhere to the purpose of customer first, through tailor-made solutions to meet market needs and promote interoperability."
