In the first half of 2024, Qingdao Port continued to promote the expansion of the sea to the market, and cooperated with shipping companies to expand the route network, adding 8 container routes, and the transit container volume increased by 14.2% year-on-year, accelerating the construction of international hub port. At the same time, in order to cope with the shortage of shipping space caused by the Red Sea crisis and other factors, we coordinated shipping companies to add more than 450 overtime vessels to meet the shipping needs of foreign trade enterprises.
