On December 16, 2024, Mediterranean Shipping (MSC) announced that, with immediate effect, it has begun accepting cargo bookings for its 2025 route network.
On November 29, 2024, MSC upgraded its east-west independent transport network, which will optimize connectivity from Asia to Europe, the United States and Canada by adding additional ports, with the aim of providing customers with more options for direct port pairing connections while guaranteeing competitive transit times.
In addition, in order to provide customers with the latest information on MSC's integrated routes in Asia, the company has now updated the service maps and transit times of its import and export routes, routes within Asia.
MSC says it has a large and strong container ship fleet. At the same time, operational independence gives MSC more adaptability and flexibility to efficiently support customers' business development.
MSC also stressed that the future trade network will be based on the long-term pilot direct network, aiming to provide customers with more direct port options, a wider range of maritime trade exposure and more efficient connectivity advantages.
In addition, the company's Asian network will provide customers with better transportation services through a loop layout, competitive transit times and high frequency direct port services.
