Hapag-LIoyd launches India Asia Express (IAX) service
On January 13, Hapag-Lloyd announced the launch of the India Asia Express (IAX) service to meet customers' transportation needs in the Asian market.
The India Asia Express (IAX), which began operations IN February 2025 with direct services from Mundra (IN) to major Asian ports, is scheduled to make its maiden voyage from Mundra Port on February 16, 2025 with the first vessel "X-PRESS ODYSSEY".
The IAX service will connect to the Gemini Shuttle network through hubs to reach other attractive locations in North America and Asia, Hapag-Lloyd said. Shipments bound for North America will be transshipped at Qingdao (CN) and Busan (KR).
