CMA CGM launches BIGEX routes to the Indian Subcontinent, Gulf and Red Sea
On February 18, CMA CGM announced the launch of the BIGEX route connecting the Indian subcontinent, the Gulf and the Red Sea.

Specifically, the new BIGEX 3 and BIGEX 4 services are designed to complement the existing BIGEX 1 and BIGEX 2 services, providing the most comprehensive and fastest direct service between India, the Middle East Gulf and the Red Sea.

CMA CGM said both weekly services will provide best-in-class shipping times and optimum reefer capacity to meet trade needs.

BIGEX 3 will connect India to the Red Sea, providing direct service and shorter transit times from India to Jeddah, with the first flight scheduled to depart from Nhava Sheva Port on February 23, 2025.

The BIGEX 3 route rotation port order is: Nhava Sheva - Mundra - Salalah - Jeddah - Nhava Sheva.

BIGEX 4 will connect India with Saudi Arabia and Iraq, providing direct service from India to Dammam with shorter transit times, with the first flight scheduled to depart from Nhava Sheva port on February 25, 2025.

The BIGEX 4 route rotation port order is: Nhava Sheva - Mundra - Dammam - Umm Qasr - Nhava Sheva.
