CMA CGM announced the adjustment of the affiliation service in Pakistan
Due to the ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan, CMA CGM of France announced a series of network adjustments on May 13th, aiming to mitigate the impact of the ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan on its operations.
New Port Line PIKEX The calling ports in sequence are: Jebel Ali - Khalifa - Karachi - Port Qasim - Colombo - Karachi - Jebel Ali.
Starting from May 14th, goods exported from Pakistan will be loaded on the PIKEX route as follows: EPIC will be connected via Colombo MEDEX will be transshipped via Colombo INDAMEX will be connected via Colombo CIMEX1 will be connected via the Port of Khalifa
Starting from May 9th, goods imported to Pakistan will be transported via the PIKEX route as follows: EPIC will be connected via the Burj Khalifa MEDEX will be connected via the Burj Khalifa INDAMEX will be connected via the Burj Khalifa -AS1 will be connected via Colombo
EPIC Route It will stop stopping at Karachi and add stops at Colombo. The new rotation ports are in sequence: Khalifa - Jebel Arri - Navasheva - Mondra - Colombo - Tangier Mediterranean - Southampton - Rotterdam - Hamburg - Antwerp - Dunkirk - Le Havre - Algeciras - Khalifa.
MEDEX route It will stop calling at Karachi. The new calling port numbers are: Khalifa - Jebel Ali - Mondra - Navasheva - Colombo - Valencia - Piraeus - Malta - Genoa - Firam - Khalifa.
INDAMEX route The port of Qasim will be discontinued and the Port of Khalifa will be added. The route will be rotated as follows: Khalifa - Navasheva - Mondra - Colombo - New York - Norwich - Savana - Charleston - Khalifa.
Route AS1
The stops at Karachi will be suspended and additional stops at Colombo will be added. The routes will call at Qingdao - Shanghai - Ningbo - Shekou - Singapore - Colombo - Navasheva - Mondra - Singapore - Qingdao.
