On September 4, Ocean Network Shipping (ONE) announced the launch of the Red Sea Indian Gulf Route 2 (RG2), a weekly route connecting the west coast of India, the Middle East and the Red Sea.

The new service will provide additional coverage on top of ONE's existing Red Sea Gulf of India Service (RGI) and increase connectivity and frequency to the Red Sea.
