ONE, HMM and Yangming Shipping's new Alliance "Premier Alliance", MSC reached a cooperation on shipping space exchange
On September 9, Ocean Network Alliance Shipping (ONE), HMM and Yangming Shipping jointly announced that the three liner companies will continue to deepen alliance cooperation, and announced the new alliance name "Premier Alliance".
This is also THE latest change in the global liner alliance pattern after Hapag-Lloyd announced in January 2024 that it would cooperate with Maersk on the "Gemini" long-term operation collaboration plan and would withdraw from the alliance.
Jeremy Nixon, CEO of ONE, said: "We are very pleased to announce a further continuation of our strategic partnership with HMM and Yangming Shipping on the east-west route. Starting in February 2025, the existing close network cooperation between the three companies will be further strengthened under this new partnership. Together, the new tripartite alliance will provide highly reliable end-to-end services to customers in the trans-Pacific and Asia-Europe trade."

On January 17, 2024, Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd jointly announced that the two sides will work together on a long-term operational collaboration plan for Gemini. Hapag-lloyd also announced that in light of THE new collaboration plan, it will withdraw from the Alliance on January 31, 2025.
