At about 21:45 on September 21, a container ship had an accident while docking at Nansha Phase 3 Terminal in Guangzhou, colliding with a ship operating at the terminal, causing three containers to fall into the water.
After receiving the report, Guangzhou Maritime Search and Rescue Center quickly activated the emergency response mechanism, and immediately dispatched the "Haixun 09077" of Guangzhou Shajiao Marine Department and the "Haixun 09079" of Guangzhou Nansha Marine Department to the scene. And coordinated the two tugs of "Suigang Towing 32" and "Harbor towing 5" and the professional salvage ship "Dongdong Guanlao 0002" to participate in the emergency disposal work.
That night, through the close cooperation and efficient operation of many forces, the danger was effectively controlled, and it is confirmed that there were no casualties on the two ships involved, and there was no water pollution incident. At the same time, all three containers that fell into the water have been safely lifted back to the dock, and the channel order and dock operation have returned to normal.
