Anchored at Ningbo Port, SeaLead launches new direct liner service with Sri Lanka Ports Authority
SeaLead Shipping, in partnership with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA), has officially launched a new direct liner service at the Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Prabath Malavige, Managing Director of Sri Lanka Ports Authority, commented on the mutual benefits of the cooperation, highlighting the important role of the Port of Colombo in the global supply chain. "The collaboration with SeaLead is in line with our ongoing commitment to strengthen Colombo's position as the premier maritime hub in the region. FID services will not only enhance trade connectivity, but also consolidate the strategic importance of the Port of Colombo in facilitating efficient global shipping operations."

With the launch of the Far East India Djibouti (FID) service, this development enhances maritime connectivity between the Far East, India and East Africa. The FID service began operations on September 5, offering weekly liner services connecting key ports in China, India and Djibouti.
