On November 20, COSCO Shipping issued a notice that the EU Customs will officially implement the new rules for manifest declaration, requiring goods shipped globally to or passing through the EU to submit entry declaration (ENS) through the EU Import Control System (ICS2).
From now on, you can provide the entry/transit declaration data required by the EU through the Freight Instructions section of our website:
1. Detailed and accurate name of goods, general name is not accepted;
2. At least 6 HS codes;
3. The consignee's Economic Operator Registration and Identification Number (EORI) registered in the European Union, or the consignee's full address (country, city name, street name + number or post office box number);
4. Direct customers need to provide the EORI number of the Seller and Buyer information reporting party, or request the shipping company to declare the details of the buyer and seller;
5. The freight forwarer or NVOCC shall provide the EORI(Economic Operator Registration and Identification) number of the House B/L reporting party;
