Recently, CMA CGM's President of the United States (APL) and Maersk Line Limited, Maersk's US company, reached a space exchange cooperation on the two routes.

Among them, Maersk will get 80 eastbound and 130 westbound slots on APL's trans-Pacific route EX1; APL was awarded 80 eastbound and 20 westbound slots on Maersk's Indian Subcontinent-US East Coast Route (MECL).

In addition, the MECL route will increase the call to Mundra port while eliminating the call to Algeciras port, which was implemented at the end of February. The port of call of the EX1 route is: Qingdao - Shanghai - Busan - Los Angeles - Oakland - Yokohama - Naha - Busan - Qingdao.

The port of call of the MECL route is: Jebel Ali - Mondra - Pipaavu - Nava Sheva - Salala - New York - Charleston - Savannah - Houston - Norfolk - New York - Tangier - Salala - Jebel Ali.
