A ship of 115 containers fell into the water, had been attached to a number of domestic ports
On March 5, South Korean liner company SM Line issued an emergency notice saying that its container ship SM PORTLAND was hit by extreme bad weather, the hull of the ship shook violently, causing 115 containers on board to fall into the water, collapse and damage.

Senluo Merchant Marine said that the ship has taken measures to slow down and will be inspected after arriving at the port, and the subsequent shipment is expected to be delayed.

SM PORTLAND was built in 2009, has a maximum capacity of 4,228 TEU, flies the Korean flag and is operated by Mori Na Merchant Marine. Before the incident, the ship departed from Busan port, called Yantian port, Ningbo Zhoushan port, Shanghai port, and then returned to Busan Port, and then set sail for North America, originally scheduled to arrive in Vancouver port on March 10.
