Maersk: Dragon route canceled docking at Shanghai Ningbo Port
Shipping giant Maersk has issued the latest announcement on the adjustment of Dragon route operations to cope with the upcoming fog season and ensure the reliability and stability of route services.
The announcement pointed out that in order to reduce the interference caused by weather factors, and maintain the quality of service and operational stability, Maersk decided to implement the "alternate port hopping" strategy between Shanghai and Ningbo ports on the Dragon route. This means that on certain voyages, the call to Shanghai or Ningbo Port will be cancelled alternately to effectively manage potential delays and ensure smooth operation of the route.
The port rotation order of Dragon route is Qingdao - Ningbo - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Yantian - Sydney - Melbourne - Brisbane. Maersk has detailed the details of the 10 sailings that will be cancelled at Shanghai or Ningbo ports so that relevant customers can prepare in advance.
