Evergreen Line has announced its refusal to work with individuals or entities on the sanctions blacklist
On March 25, Evergreen Line issued a notice stating that it does not do business with individuals or entities on the sanctions blacklist, nor with entities where the sanctioned person holds 50% or more of total ownership, and does not accept shippers own Containers (SOC).

Evergreen Line emphasizes that this action is to ensure that it does not violate the regulations of the relevant economic sanctions, and asks customers to note the following: Evergreen Line does not accept shipper owned boxes (SOCs) that are at risk of any sanctions; Customers are expected to conduct due diligence before delivering SOCs to Evergreen Line to ensure that the container owner or SOC prefix owner is not a sanctioned party or entity established under the laws of Iran, North Korea, Cuba and Syria.

In the announcement, Evergreen Line details 15 SOC cabinet prefixes that are prohibited for shipment, including HDXU, IRSU, ALXU, XBIU, SBAU, BYTU, CBKU, CGVU, NMKU, RZZU, SSFU, SSGU, FESU, and FCCU. RZDU, in order to provide clear guidance to customers to avoid using these containers that may trigger the risk of sanctions.

Evergreen Line also reminds customers that since each partner has its own economic sanctions compliance policy and prefix ban list, if a customer's cargo plans to carry a partner's vessel, it is necessary to arrange the booking of SOC self-contained cabinets according to the specific requirements of the partner. Evergreen Line will accept or decline the booking in accordance with the instructions of the partner.
