According to Alphaliner data, as of July 5, 2025, CMA CGM Group's total operating capacity exceeded 4 million TEUs, reaching 4,014,290 TEUs, making it the third liner company after Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Maersk to exceed 4 million TEUs in capacity.

At present, CMA CGM operates a total of 685 vessels, among which 332 are owned vessels with a capacity of 2,396,604 TEUs and 353 are leased vessels with a capacity of 1,617,686 TEUs. The proportion of leased vessels in the total capacity is 40.3%. In addition, CMA CGM has 94 custom-built vessels with a custom-built capacity of 1,489,480 TEUs, accounting for 37.1% of its total operating capacity. Its custom-built capacity scale is second only to MSC.
