A total of 10,000 China-Europe freight trains will be launched in 2024
At 11:46 on July 10, with the X8017 full schedule of China-Europe train (Wuhan-Duisburg) from Wujiashan station, this year, the total number of China-Europe train has reached 10,000, 19 days earlier than last year, the total number of goods sent 1.083 million TEU, an increase of 11%, showing a good trend of quantity and quality.
We will continue to improve the quality and efficiency of the China-Europe Express, strive to build an international logistics brand with strong radiation, driving force and influence, effectively guarantee the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain, and inject new momentum into the smooth domestic and international double cycle, promote the economic and social development of the regions and countries along the routes, jointly build the Belt and Road with high-quality services, and promote the economic and trade exchanges between China and Europe.
First, the capacity of channels increased steadily. We actively promoted the capacity expansion and renovation of Alashankou and other domestic railway port stations, Tianjin Xingang and other shipping stations, and the construction of railway corridor shoring plate projects such as Suifenhe to the international border line of Binsui-Sui Railway, and improved the transport capacity of China-Europe railway corridors and port loading capacity. The number of China-Europe freight trains operating on the three main transport channels in the west (via Alashankou and Khorgos ports), in the middle (via Erenhot ports) and in the east (via Manzhouli, Suifenhe and Tongjiang North ports) increased by 13%, 20% and 5%, respectively. China has taken an active part in the construction of the Trans-Caspian international transport corridor, strengthened communication and coordination with railway authorities of countries along the route on trans-Caspian China-Europe railway transport, and formed stable routes and relatively favorable freight rates. In the first half of this year, 111 China-Europe railway trains on the Nantong Route were operated, an increase of 15 times year-on-year. Since July 1, the regular operation of Trans-Caspian China-Europe railway trains has been realized. The China-Europe Express is closely connected with the new land-Sea Corridor in the West and the China-Laos Railway, further expanding the China-Europe Express transport service network, and the overseas channel network pattern of "smooth and efficient, multi-directional extension and land-sea connectivity" is becoming increasingly mature. Up to now, China-Europe freight trains have reached 224 cities in 25 European countries and connected more than 100 cities in 11 Asian countries, with a service network covering basically the whole of Europe and Asia.
Second, the transportation organization is constantly optimized. Following market demand, local railway authorities have continuously optimized the organization of China-Europe railway services, and adjusted the routes and operating cycles of these services in a scientific manner. At present, 91 planned China-Europe railway routes with a speed of 120 km/h have been laid in China, connecting 61 cities in China. Optimize the operation process of the China-Europe railway line, strengthen equipment, facilities and personnel, give priority to the transport, loading and loading of the China-Europe railway line, and focus on the whole process of monitoring and control to ensure safe, stable and efficient operation; Major railway port stations give priority to the handling of China-Europe freight trains, cooperate with customs, border inspection and other joint inspection departments, improve the functions of the 95306 digital port system, actively promote the railway rapid customs clearance business model, and effectively improve the customs clearance efficiency and facilitation of the whole process of China-Europe freight trains. China has strengthened communication and consultation with railway authorities of countries along the routes to expand the scale of China-Europe full-time-based trains. Since June 15, the China-Europe full-time-based trains have been increased from 5 trains per week to 17 trains per week. Chongqing, Yiwu, Wuhan, Guangzhou and other cities have launched the first China-Europe full-time-based trains, which have been favored by customers.
Third, the level of service continued to improve. We will make good use of domestic and overseas coordination mechanisms for China-Europe freight trains to stabilize transport prices, increase the efficiency of cargo turnover, and reduce operating costs for foreign trade enterprises. We have optimized the supply of train products, vigorously launched customized train services, and launched special train products such as postal materials, photovoltaic, cold chain, and commercial automobile trains to provide customers with high-quality international logistics services. A total of 101 railway container return points have been established in 15 countries along the China-Europe railway line to facilitate customers to return containers. China has actively applied new technologies such as Beidou satellite positioning and 5G, and implemented measures such as loading reinforcement and safety inspection to ensure the safe and stable operation of China-Europe freight trains. We have given full play to the role of the customer service center of the China-Europe Express, optimized the service function of the China-Europe Express portal website, built a "one-stop" comprehensive service platform, and provided global customers with basic services such as multimodal transport document processing, cargo tracking, professional customer service and other basic services 7×24 hours. We have launched value-added services such as door-to-door transportation, customs declaration agent, comprehensive logistics, and full insurance, which have better met customer needs. China has vigorously carried out scientific research and successfully solved the safety problems in railway transportation of new energy vehicles and consumer lithium batteries, and the high value-added and high-tech products represented by the "new three types" made in China - new energy vehicles, lithium-ion battery products and photovoltaic products have become new growth points in the volume of China-Europe freight trains. At present, there are more than 50,000 types of goods in 53 categories carried by China-Europe freight trains, and the comprehensive heavy container rate has remained at 100 percent.
Fourth, the radiation driving effect has become increasingly prominent. At present, the China-Europe railway service network basically covers the entire Eurasian continent, effectively expanding economic and trade exchanges between China and other countries along the route, deepening international cooperation on production capacity, accelerating the cross-border flow of factor resources, and increasingly prominent radiation driving effect. The China-Europe Express (Guangdong) has helped many well-known manufacturing brands in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area export. The China-Europe Express train (Xi 'an) connects with road, sea and other transportation modes in an orderly manner, vigorously develops road and rail combined transport, sea and rail combined transport, and provides whole-process logistics solutions for many local enterprises in Xi 'an. Actively explore and innovate the "full timetable +" distribution mode of China-Europe railway trains, which is closely connected with road transport, and provide full-chain logistics services at both ends of the railway trains, reducing transit links and shortening delivery time. The China-Europe Express (Shanxi), carrying wheels, stainless steel, solar photovoltaic modules and condiments from Taiyuan, medicines from Datong, flanges and kaolin from Xinzhou, ceramics from Shuozhou, glassware and castings from Jinzhong and Yuncheng and other "Made in Shanxi", arrived in countries jointly building the "Belt and Road", becoming an important channel for Shanxi to speed up the opening up of inland regions to the outside world.
In the next step, China Railway Group will focus on high-quality services to jointly build the "Belt and Road", adhere to the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, strengthen international railway cooperation, promote the development of China-Europe railway services in the direction of higher quality, better efficiency and more safety, and provide a strong transport service guarantee for promoting China's foreign trade development and high-quality service opening up.
