Hapag-lloyd upgrades China-Germany Express Service (CGX)
On November 18, Hapag-Lloyd announced the upgrade of the China-Germany Express Service (CGX).
The China-Germany Express Service (CGX) will expand port coverage in Asia and Europe, with weekly services rotating from January 2025, Sungreen Logistics has learned.
The upgraded route will be the first voyage of the "Copiapo" from Yangshan Port on January 3, 2025, and the new port order of the CGX route is: Yangshan - Ningbo - Yantian - Singapore - Tema - Southampton - Rotterdam - Wilhelmshaven.
The upgraded CGX will take over cargo transported on the FE9 route, which will last sail from Qingdao, China, on December 30, 2024, with the CMA CGM Rivoli in charge. The port will be temporarily served by the FE4 route, with the first port call, HMM Southampton, expected to depart on January 8, 2025.
