Price increase, Maersk adjust multiple routes peak season surcharge!
Recently, Maersk has made adjustments to some routes from China, temporarily increasing the peak season surcharge (PSS).
Maersk will impose a peak season surcharge (PSS) of US $500 per container for dry cargo containers and reefer containers departing from East China ports (Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Yangtze River region) to Sihanoukville from December 6, 2024.
At the same time, Maersk has revised (China/Hong Kong, China/Japan/Korea/Mongolia to New Zealand/Fiji Island/French Polynesia) peak season surcharges, effective December 1, 2024, as follows:
In addition, Maersk has also adjusted the PSS from the Far East to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands.
