CMA CGM launches Maya Service for the West coast of Central America

On November 27, CMA CGM announced the launch of the Maya Service dedicated to the west coast of Central America.

Sungreen Logistics has learned that the Maya route is operated entirely by CMA CGM and the weekly port rotation on the route is Lazaro Cardenas (Mexico) - Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica) - Corinto (Nicaragua) - Accajutra (El Salvador) - Puerto Quetzal (Guatemala) - Lazaro Cardenas.

Two vessels, CMA CGM Surabaya and Magdalena Schulte, will be deployed to perform weekly direct services. The maiden voyage will begin on January 2.

CMA CGM specifically noted that from April 10, 2025, the service will operate from the Port of Buenaventura in Colombia.
